The hotel is located in Sanjiang Dong People Autonomous County of Liuzhou, Guangxi. Sanjiang is a settlement of several ethnic groups such as Dong, Han, Miao, Yao and Zhuang people. Dating back to Chongning 4th year of Song dynasty (1105), it is the only Dong people’s county in Guangxi, with the largest number of Dong people’s architectures which are best preserved and most concentrated. So it is honored as the “hometown of drum towers and wind and rain bridges in the world”. seventy-four rivers of different sizes cross each other within the county of Sanjiang. The county has been named after three main rivers in it, Rongjiang River, Xunjiang River and Miaojiang River.
